So, If you haven't already heard Cade is now mobile!
He is scooting like crazy. It is so nice to see him being able to go where he wants on his own. He sees something he wants, and he goes get it. I think he gets faster and faster each day. Although, it is the cutest little scoot, we are still working on getting him on all fours. His legs just want to automatically fall apart, like a frog, due to his low tone.
We have also been working on using his walker a little more now that he is stronger. He could really get it if he could just figure out how to bend and step. When standing he locks his knees. His stability is so much better though, and he is definitely going in the right direction. We are so proud of our little man!
(Isn't this just the cutest thing ever?!?)
We were suppose to start Hippo therapy last week, but due to the rain it was cancelled :(
Hoping for better weather this week. We are scheduled for Tuesday. I know that Cade will love being on the horse, and it will do wonders for his balance, strength, tone...overall it is a great therapy! I will be sure to post pictures!! :)
Look out world, here comes Cade! He will be climbing on everything in no time.
ReplyDeleteMaegan, I'm so surprised that they put Cade in a walker since his tone is pretty good. Did they say why? He looks great! Dean couldn't even bear weight on his legs until about 14 months!
ReplyDeleteAli, We were given the walker by another local PWS family in our area, so that is why we have one. Cade really isn't walking in it, he just stands.
